Lunch with the Producer — Versante Wines
On Sunday 31 May we welcome Marika and Luca of Versante Wines from Montefiorino, in the heart of the Appennino Modenese, for a special lunch dedicated to their mountain wines and the cuisine of Emilia Romagna.
Together with the producers, we created an afternoon inspired by the landscapes of the Modenese Apennines: forests, chestnuts, altitude, stone villages and the rich traditions of mountain cooking.
Versante is a small artisanal winery working in the hills around Montefiorino, where vineyards grow at altitude and wines are shaped by mountain climate, mineral soils and slow agriculture. During the lunch, Marika and Luca will personally introduce the wines and share the story behind their work and territory.
The menu will be specially created for the occasion and paired with a selection of Versante wines.
