“Buitengewone Varkens” (extraordinary pigs) root, scavenge and laze in fields, forests, and meadows. A pampered life as the pigs deserve!

Owners Stan Gloudemans and Josse Haarhuis have approximately 20 locations spread across the Netherlands, always visible to everyone, with dedicated caretakers. They provide the pigs, which live in small family groups, with responsibly grown food. The pigs also scavenge for some of their food themselves.

The combination of food, fresh air, and lots of exercise results in a sublime taste of meat. The transport of the pigs and the logistics of the meat are all done by the extraordinary farmers and caretakers themselves.
