There are fishermen who want to do things differently. They want to fish smarter and only catch large, mature fish with as little damage as possible to the seabed, marine environment, birds, and marine mammals. These fishermen want to work towards a healthy fishery in a healthy sea, want to develop short, transparent trade chains, from the sea to the plate. These are “Goede Vissers”.
